The Gov.uk wallet is launching soon. How will it impact your business?

The GOV.UK Wallet is set to change the way British citizens prove their identities online and in person.

Out will go scans of utility documents and photos of passports. In their place? Verified encrypted digital credentials stored in an official government wallet.

A group of stakeholders is building this new identity infrastructure now. The technical framework is coming together. But despite this progress, there’s been little discussion of how the GOV.UK Wallet will impact businesses.
